Low Buck Street/Strip Truck Suspension
I have a 1991 Ford ranger. It 2wd, came with a 4.0 v6, as well as an auto tranny. A buddy and I are doing a low buck drag truck with it. Plan on swapping in an early '80s carburated 302 with and a c4 transmission. Planning on making it more of a drag truck later on with nitrous, and built transmission and trans brake, and so on. Wondering if the stock 8.8 rear end will hold up? Slapper bars vs caltracs, and rear shock setups. As well as front springs maybe for better weight transfer. Trying to stay on the cheap side.
