hey yall i just had a few questions bout servicing my truck details on it are its an 03 4.0 4x4 auto tranny just hit 40k miles no tow package and it was a 1 owner in his 70's so im guessing no towing really first question is sometimes my tranny takes a second to kick into whatever gear its in when its warm and almost seems like im revving it when its goes into gear cold should i service the transmission is there anything else i should do already did the airfilter

 

did you check the fluid??

 

why didnt i think of that dammm it didnt really do it that i recall when i got it like 2k miles ago but its my first automatic in awhile maybe i just didnt realize it i know it was full when i got it though

 

yup check it.. stick shift you dont need to check fluid at all.. but automatic's you do.. sounds to me that the fluid is low.
