Is it alright to use two different brands for the front brake rotors? My oem rotors have 100k on them and are about shot. I have one brand new PG Raybestos sitting at home, and have the chance to buy a brand new Wagner rotor for about $18 bucks. Cash is tight, and this will save me about $40 bucks to spend elsewhere on my truck Can I mix and match two different brand rotors without sacrificing safety and function? Both are brand new condition.

 

If they are the exact same size and all, then I dont see why not.

Im not too sure though.

 

I've done it on trucks at work to save a buck. No ill effects yet.
