Moog upper control arms with camber kit

I just installed a new set of upper control arms with the new Moog camber kit. I am trying to find out if I did the PRE-LOAD correctly. I first made the camber bolts loose and lowered the truck to the ground with tires on. I then measured the distance from the top of the wheel arch and the center of the hub to have for a reference. I then place a jack under the frame on the side I was working on and removed the tire because there was no room to use a torque wrench. I then placed a bottle jack under the lower control arm and raised it up until the weight of truck was barely off the jack stand. I then torqued the camber bolts to 100 ft lbs and then put tire back on. The measurement of the arch to center of hub was very close. Just wanted to know if there was a better way to do this. Please Help.

That's pretty much the same thing I did. I have not had any problems.
