MOOG control arms w/ball joints

Can anyone answer if the MOOG control arms that come with ball joints are the same as any individual ball joint you buy? I'm looking at the lower arms, RK620498/99, but noticed these "R" series only have a 12 month warranty, while the ball joints, K8771T, have the limited lifetime warranty. It's a bit confusing and I need a little schooling here. Thanks!

Ranger Lower control arms have removable ball joints. My suggestion would be to buy the arm and the ball joint separately and press it in yourself (not hard). This was you can get lifetime warranty on both. May I ask why youre replacing the lower arm? wreck? usually lowers dont go bad.

The cost of the arm compared to the ball joint isn't that much. I'll be doing the upper arm at the same time.

The R version does not have the greasable joints.
