I was struck between engine/HP and wheels/tires.. but nice wheels and good tires really make a truck/car, lotsa power on $hitty tires isnt gonna get you anywhere but into a wreck.

That's a tough one. I'm more of a form follows function person.

It's a tough call between brakes and suspension. Both are very important apects to the vehicles performance.

I voted for suspension. I use my truck as a toy in the desert. brakes are important, but brakes are not going to let me go fast over the ruff deep stuff.

After driving a corolla and a 2.3 mustang, I stepped up to the 3.0 and It was a major difference... lotsa power and torque...

I voted HP, but I beleive it's torque more.

Power is useless unless you can put it to the ground and keep it there.

Suspension/Brakes/Tires/Engine

If I had a 4.0 it would be for sure HP, but thanks to the lame 3.0 I have to say my rare Roush Rims and BFGs. Always love getting inquiries/complements about them

I voted Engine/HP because thats what I want to improve the most. The 3.0L I think has potential but no one is that willing to see. But anyways did anyone see that Ford is actually offering an FX2 package on the F-150?

I voted brakes. The 3.0 ranger isnt a race truck but once you get it up and going, gotta stop the damn thing.

the key hole... kinda hard to drive it if you cant get in...

to me i like suspension, because flying around corners and s turns in a car that handles well is so much fun, and it doesnt matter the engine because they all can go above 40...

I voted suspension, its practically the only thing I've been working on for the last month and I can't go anywhere without it completed.

Other than that, for playing in the mud its "Go big or go home."

I said TIRES...

They're the first piece of your vehicle that's in contact with the road, the object that in sense, makes you vehicle stop and go.

I had a lowered accord before my ranger and tires made/brake how the car handled, drove, and performed.

Tires for me, by far...

Tires, with suspension a close second. Big brakes and high HP are absolutely useless without grip. Tires are the first link to that. Suspension because something has to keep the tires in proper contact with the traction surface. But the more I think about it the parts are equally as important (minus bling) and must act as one to have a well performing vehicle.
