Hi All,
What exactly is Additive Friction Modifier used for? It comes in a little 4oz. plastic bottle.

Thanks.

I don't have a limited slip. I have an open 8.8 with a 4:10 ratio and it makes a whining noise around 40-50 mph. Would this additive help quiet the gears?

Thanks

My rear end makes that noise too. The friction modifier will not quiet your rear end. Time for a rebuild or an upgrade.
