motorcraft oil filter

motorcraft oil filter
A few months ago I change my motor oil to 100% synthelic,now its under 5k and the oil looks good but was wondering how long should I let the filter go before changing it?.

I change my Mobil 1 and Mobil 1 filter at 5000 miles on my 04 FX4 Level II 4.0. 98,000 mi and still love this truck!

I would change the filter everytime you change the oil. some people say you can reuse them but they are pretty cheap anyway so why not?

yeah I was thinking about changing it next week that should put it at 5k I dont think I should push it to 7k I dont want a mess on the engine from the filter.

Really, a filter is probably 5-6 bucks, takes only a few minutes to change every 5000 miles...why be cheap? Your already changing your oil anyway.
