My 0-60 Video

Finally got around to making one. This is a 4cyl engine w/ 5spd. manual, with 3.73 rear end gearing, and stock size tires.....well, they look like it anyways.

Those were my thoughts, but still pretty good for a 4 banger. My 3.0 isn't that much better. Ok maybe it is. Nice video though. I get 21 mpg with my 3.0L and that's not even highway.

Don't be hatin! It did go pretty quick for what it is.

You gotta remeber we have a tcase, live front axle, and alot more weight on the front and rear end to push/pull.

Yeah the 4.0 isn't anything special either but it's got enough pullin/torquin power for me.

^^I still don't understand that. After calculating four tanks of gas...I've been getting 15-16mpg w/my hog.

21 isn't babying it too bad. But then again I've got a cap (might not help drag/weight), an exhaust, and an efan. Although I haven't done any mileage tests as of yet with the efan. Still pretty peppy for a 4 banger your truck is.

Im pretty pleased with it, b/c my last truck had a v8 in it, and it wasn't any faster than this truck with a 4cyl, but yet this one gets bout 10 mpg better. I'll be curious to see what kinda gas mileage i'll get out of this tank, since i've been in the gas a ton.

I dont know, something must be making the computer dump fuel in......1st it was 14.6....the next tank it was 14.2.....then the one from today was 13.9.... Thats why im getting an f150, if im paying out the *** for gas, why not have a full size 4 door f150 with a 5.4L V8 in it?

I still cant believe Ford didnt put Tach's in automatically when a 5-Speed was used. I like to use them the first time I drive a new vehicle. After you drive them for a while you can feel and hear it, but sometimes its hard on a new vehicle. Nutso ford.

Not bad, you should get a cluster with a tach so you can track your RPM's, I can usually do about 40mph or so in first then I have to shift, that should give you a comparison to a 3.0L, w/ 3.73's just like you have.

yea, I want to get a cluster with a tach, but 2 things holding me back......time and money. lol Although it shouldn't cost anything if I sell my cluster......I was in 3rd when I ended the video at about 64mph.

Oh, Does it sound like a 4cyl to ya'll?
