Are my options really that limited?

So I am looking into getting my 2008 FX4 lifted around 6-8 inches, however there is no one kit to do this with? Is it true Camburg suspension systems are only for 2WD Rangers??

Is the best option for me to go with the 3-4'' Superlift and then a 3'' body lift on top of that? The RCD kit seems like bull**** to me, 5.5'' inches of lift and its friggin discountinued!#%!, no thanks. Are there any other options?? Would i be able to run 34's or 35's with a total of 6-7inches of lift on the 08 ride height? If you guys have any LINKS please post them!

Don't forget to prekey... that'll put you at stock height for <07 or whatever year it is...

Don't go any higher then 35's if you are keeping the IFS. Your best bet is to research a SAS, and seriously think about what you are going to use it for. If you are going to hit the trails hard and plan on going with big tires ( 35's and up ) then look at a SAS. If you want to go with 33 to 35's then get a super lift and a small body lift. I have a super lift in my truck and i am running 35's and it is great.

Yeah it goes like this:

Take out your old 08-current keys and replace them with 07 and older keys. lol

There is no kit bigger than 5in and that kit isn't made anymore. The only kit still made in production is the Superlift which can give you at max 5in of lift in the front with cranked t-bars. the RCD gives roughly 6in with the right coils.

SAS is your only option if you want more than 7-8in of lift without a body lift.

Don't hate on the RCD kit. It's a much better kit than the superlift, with the bugs worked out prior to install. I love my RCD.

For keys you can try your luck at the junkyards, or go to a Ford dealer.

Yep thats my goal, maybe a 3" BL too. The options (if you can call them that) are REALLY limited. I do have to say the ones out there are really aren't crappy/ low quality. The RCD just needs some fixing before throwing one on.

nahh, i dont even know where a junkyard around here is. i found the part number off that other thread F57Z-5B328-B.

I want my front end to sit higher, so if i put these key's in the front then crank my t-bars and leave my stock 08 blocks in the the back, the front end will sit higher correct? If it looks like crap and i change my mind i can always get the shackles for the back later.
