Need better seats

The seats in my 98 standard cab Ranger are, well, worn out. My butt gets sore as heck after five miles driving it ...Any certain years I should be looking at for good fitting replacements?

I wanna stick with bench seats. Leather would be nice, but I'll take whatever I can get.
Color no problem as long as they aren't green.

Power seats would be nice too, but again I'll take whatever as long as they are in good shape. I'm sure seats out of a newer Ranger, etc. are likely to be in better shape, if they will swap in. Thanks

I found a pair out of a 2012 for sale. They look nice, but does anyone know if they are a fit into the older truck?

Call a ford dealer with the VIN. Ask what years will fit your truck.
Example: seats for a 98 were used 96-00. Just a made up example, not actual.

I put seats from 2006 into my 98 Ranger standard cab. They are much firmer than the originals.

Just make sure you get seats from a standard cab. Extended cab seats won't fit.

Check out if your seat tracks unbolt, my '03 did.
Got different Ranger seats and bolted the Tracks on.

Not A Bench Seat but it is just a thought.

Why not Bucket Seats or even the 60/40 Seat ?

AND then there is new covers from eBay !

Yes I guess 60/40s would be okay...I like the swapping seat tracks thing. Good idea.
I'll see what I can come up with. At this point I'm no longer ruling out buckets.
