I can spend about 2-3 grand.

I could spend really as much as I can save up...but after 3 grand it's so pointless.

I know I'm not running my truck that hard in the mud. Therefore there is no point for me to waste my money on something I'm going to look at. I might as well put the 4k towards the ATV (BTW, I already have a yfz450, I just love the mud too) and actually USE it and RUN it and if I break it, it doesn't matter!!! If I run my truck, thats not going to be pretty....

Right now I don't think i'm going to go through with it. But that doesn't mean that I won't a year from now when I'm a fireman and have my cummins or powerstroke :)

37 ssr's
linex (possibly a bed cap, if it's a cap i'll do a bedrug)
locker of some sort, maybe powertrax
4.88 gears
amber emergency lights
i may get a dvd/navi unit again...

we'll see what else.

I need to re-do my interior though...

Id reconsider your tire choice, the SSR's are some of the weakest sidewalls, and tend to rip easily

I don't run on rocks or anything.

Just mud and the street. My other option was 36 tsl radials, but I really want a 37.

I am still up in the air about this guys. I can get a d44 and wheels for a really good price :)

It wouldn't be pointless, it would be a VERY capable vehicle for off roading.

Edit: Aside from that, We don't mug bog here, there are a lot of trails and technical stuff where a smaller vehicle with more articulation would work well.

x2 on that

I would run 40's.

I may just wait until I buy a superduty to do mine, so then I can tow my rig around to where I want to wheel it. I can break it and not care.

All this will be when I'm hired with the FD. But I wanted to at least do my SFA soon...I'm just torn weather I want to do it or not b/c 4k is an ATV, and thats what it is looking like costing.

Although right now I need new brakes, DS ball joints (upper/lower), tires, and gears. And I"m getting linex too...Oh well, it's just money :)

its not very possible. i really cant go any lower than i am now or i would have no up travel. as in the axle would hit the frame/engine
