You're waaay going the wrong direction. Save your $$, return gears. Find a great deal on some already geared axles then solid axle your truck. You can go with whatever reasonable height you want and even get coils or spring suspension.

When I look back on it, I wish I went with SAS for the simplicity. My front suspension handles 35s fine but...I dunno, wheel bearings suck ***. And other little weird noises and stuff.

So you say you're truck won't make it at the dunes lower then it is now?

Is that why my old bone stock single cab 2wd 2.3l went through the dunes no problem?

They were street tires too...

I would keep it just the way it is. There is nothing wrong with your truck. It looks good and for the money you are going to spend on it, it probably wont be worth it.

Just my .02 cents.

I'm definitely going to coilover swap and supercharge it and i'll be "done" with it

Off roading with the tbars hanging down is a real bummer which is why i want to swap the front suspension.

Its not worth my time or money doing a solid axle swap. If my truck was completely paid for and had higher mileage id consider it though.

Truck looks good the way it sits P.C., do the Coil-Over setup, get it to sit the same and then look at tires and gears. With the coil-over setup the truck will handle totally different, better that is !

33” tire need 4.56s for sure so the 4.88s for the 35 sound about right.
I have a 3.0SLOW, 5-sp, with 33s and 4.10s it $ucks, just not enough power.

i don't mind 4.10 and 33s at all with a tune and 4.0L but i will definitely be doing the coilover swap. I just had to buy a new battery for my car as well as all fluids just to get it ready for the winter so that set me back once again -_-
