So, I backed into a pole, and by backed in I mean I nicked my side mirror against the pole and my mirror popped off. It's still intact, but how does one go about replacing this? I have a 2002 ranger with power windows that fold in. I'm just wondering if there is anyway to salvage the mirror without having to purchase an entire mirror assembly? If I can't salvage it, where would be a great place to get a replacement mirror without going to the dealer and dishing out more than I have to?

You'd probably be just better off replacing the whole mirror, I don't think it's possible to replace what you mentioned. Ebay or a junkyard would have one for under 30 bucks, and replacing the mirror is easy as pie.
