never seen anything like this....

i was at the junkyard awhile back and i saw this in a 2002 ford ranger....







Any ideas?

That is what i'm thinking, but that seems like a lot of wires going into it.

i just searched for tremor ranger cardomain, and came up on one, adn it had that same thing in the back

ah ha....it makes sense now! what got me is there is no ports.

Looks like a battery cell for a ranger EV. If I recall they were built somewhere around 99-2002?

Just a guess though.

the batteries for an electric ranger was like the whole underbed. lol....lots of batteries.
