On my 06 STX, had a grinding noise when driving around and the death hopps when I applied the brakes. so i put new inter and outer wheel bearings , rotors, and pads on and bleed the system she stops great no more hopping but
driver side still has a grinding noise , took it back apart made sure I cleaned everything, guide pins etc.
when i spin the rotor it only makes the noise when the pads and caliper are back on , "the guide pins" on caliper move in and out very freely , theres side to side play with the caliper is all back together , but go to spin the rotor after you pump the brakes theres still grinding
