new project.....

well i got some new guages for my Birthday tomorrow from my mom and stepdad..........also got a singe guage pod to go above my dual gauge pod that i have now.......

i got(all AutoMeter Sport Comp 2 1/16")
-volt gauge
-water temp
-fuel level
-diff temperature

those go with the 2 AutoMeter 2 1/16" Sport comps that i already have (oil pressure and tranny temp)

the fuel level, oil pressure, and water temp are going on the A-pillar and the others (tranny temp, volt meter, and diff temp) will either go in a custom radio bezel above the radio, or in a customized upper pocket of the explorer center consol....

on with the pics.....

already started on the tripple gauge A-pillar.....hopefully will have it done tomorrow after work, if i dont get too caught up in my gf and my birtday celebrations(yea that is right, my gf and i have the same birthday)

here are the pictures....

yea....i had the double already mounted.....i had to do some cutting of the single pod to get it to fit correctly above the double, but after the molding you can't tell it was ever cut.....it looks all like it was susposed to be a true tripple a-pillar pod......

happy b-day! Question for you...What's wrong with the stock fuel gauge in the truck? Why do you need another one? Just curious. I dont know anything about gauges and such.

nothing wrong with the stock fuel gauge, i am working up to completely removing the factory gauge cluster and replacing it with a 3" tach and a 3" Speedo in the dash infront of an brushed aluminum panel.....
