But it's awesome nonetheless. I think it embodies pretty good ideas.

Car show crap. Ford won't build it , and if they did , it would cost $50k. And lastly, It would be available everywhere but here; Like diesel rangers in S.A. and true crewcab rangers in europe.

Gross... looks like a Honda Ridgeline!

EDIT: Now that I read it, I like the idea of front and rear winches, and also the pass-through from the bed into the cabin. That tailgate is pretty trick and I love the storage bins on the sides of the bed also! But it's still FUGLY! make an 01-03 Ranger with 4 doors and all that cool **** and I'd be on it like a fat kid on a cupcake!

all the car companies are getting desperate. Chevrolet has come out with a new concept for the Camaro, and completely butchered what was left of the camaro name... now we have Ford pulling the same stunts.. Japanese machines are taking over our countries becuase we have idiots designing the new cars, and the ones worth buying are insanely overpriced. I wonder if these owners are in any way related to bill gates?

I think the the diesel ranger for South america is something like 165hp/330torque.
That would be nice with 30mpg lol. This 15mpg crap I been getting last month is blah.
I mean a f350 powerstroke can break that...

it will never look like that, concepts rarely look like the production vehicle if they even make it into production.

yes, but they could atleast try to make them look a little better instead of looking like an entirely different vehicle

That reminds me of some of those 90's wacko japanese cars that had the
3ft bumper kits and other crap.

As others stated.. I love the features hate the look.

I think your all forgetting that Ford is making this for Asian consumers. The ricers WANT the rice so Ford is making a smart business move and meeting their demands.

They picked Thailand because Thailand is the largest market for pick-ups outside the USA

Quote from the article,

“The 4-Trac is a response to the needs and aspirations of a new generation of consumers in Asia and other parts of the world.
I doubt the would bring it over here to North America, so don't worry

If it sells good in Thailand, it's only a matter of time before they bring it to North America
