Well everyone, the sliver beast has been retired. I traded it in and picked up my new STX 2 days ago. What do you think?































I know some of you may be wondering; "Why all the power options & such and then the POS radio?" Well, I told the dealership that I wasn't going to put $300 into a radio that I was going to replace anyways. Then they found me this truck which was perfect.

Im freakin jealous i looked everywhere for a black STX before i found my 02...sick sick sick i love it the wheels just turn for things to do to that CONGRATS!

Yeah they're nearly impossible to find anymore. I had to drive to a dealership that's an hour and 20 minutes away from my house, and when they didn't have the one I wanted, they had to trade another dearlership that was another 2 hours away. I've never even seen an STX driving around where I live.

 

interior is pimp minus the radio, needs some rims asap.....

 

I was considering the explorer limited wheels from an 04 or 05. I've seen them on a ranger before and they look awesome. I think I'll make a few payments on the truck first before I go looking for new wheels though lol.

 

no f that, get them now lol, go with some bigger chroms rims, or maybe even some mustang rims.....

 

Yeah we've got a few good places to find rims around here, I might just take a look.

looks good, im not a fan of the bed and tail lights however...nice x50 you got there in the windshield lol...

 

i really like the front valence. it doesn't look "stock" like most rangers front valances do.

 

I think I am stealing it tonight, at 1am in front of your house lol!! I love that front end and the taillights more than you know. I think if I get rid of mine anytime soon and decide not to get a family vehicle then I will be getting one of em, that truck just screams hotness. Can't wait to see some new rims etc. on it, atleast I hope that is in the plans!! Blades

 

that radio is pimp ****. you should find a way to put it on hinges or have it snap back on. no one is going to want to steal it. so install a nice unit behind the POS cover and there is your radio security.

 

just have to point out the dinky mud flaps

 

i like the truck. nice choice.

overall the STX valance looks a lil big and outta place IMO, but that is easily cured with some SLP side skirts. 2/3 drop wouldnt hurt either. oh and the bumper mod, cause free mods are best!!

Im jalous man!!!! I have to wait 4-8 weeks before I get my new Ranger :(

 

Alright; after half an hour, a few cigarettes, and nearly freezing to death, the bumper mod is complete. Take a look and see what you think.
