I'm eventually getting clear corners and when i get them, i was thinking of altezza tail lights but i'm trying to avoid the rice look. Chrome would probably look best with a white truck, but i was also considering the black. Not sure though. :?

I like the altezzas that gbgary has on his truck, and I think the black altezzas look best on black or red trucks...

 

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the chrome ones. They look ricey to me. It's not a white truck, or chrome taillights. But here is something else to think about as well:

I have a black 2004 flareside EDGE. I want euros and id like altezzas but i also dont want the import look.....what should i do??

 

I've got so much black trim and accents on my truck, the black should look fine. I'm hoping to buy Leo's old ones.

 

taillights are supposed to be red.. all the aftermarket ones look *wrong* to me.

How hard were they to wire up?

 

i had the "carbon fiber" ones on for a while but i got tired of the look and took them off.. i think they looked kinda ricey on my truck

 

Had to run three new wires from the cab to make them work. Theres no way to seperate the combination brake/turn signal at the back.

 

Here is a pic of my 96 with Altezza's on it... i haven't seen these on E-bay recently, but they might pop up again. But this gives u an idea of what black looks like on white....

I actually like them. Thanks for that. I have a white truck and I'm buying black tails. I have a bunch of black trim though, including black bedrail caps, black antennas, black rocksliders and rocker panels coated with black "stone guard" coating. This is a lousy pic because the trucks so dirty, but you get the idea. I think the black tails will look fine.

Yeah, I have a white Ranger too, and I am going to avoid the chrome look, gun metal or CF is the way to go.

 

I've seen these in black too, i love em. Would these be able to be easily modded onto a '98? Or would I have to buy a whole new setup?

 

get the ones by Elegante....way better quality than APC...i like gunmetal and carbon fiber ones as opposed to chrome....jut my opinion

or u could go totally different and fill the tail lights in all together and get the roll pan with supra tail lights....get new light and a roll pan in one buy...
