I am sorry, But Sonic Blue is the reason I drive a Grey Truck. I have never bought a Vehicle that wasn't blue. I Love Blue. Bright Island Blue is the best color ever. When I went to order a new truck he said I couldn't get that color any more. He said Sonic Blue was available. He took me around the building to look at a sonic blue ranger, and I said, "NO WAY! THAT'S PURPLE!" I was so disappointed. It took me two months to decide on grey as I really don't like any other color than blue.

I am sorry Zach, but Sonic blue looks purple to me. I really think your truck looks bada** though!

J/K! But I seriously say the same thing, every time someone calls my car pink. I say it is Cerise Firemist! (The GM color for it) But I know deep down it's really pink!

Put pink graphics on the truck and they quit talking about the purple aspect of the paint.

Yeah sonic blue would be closer id say.. bright island blue is a lighter blue.

 

I swear people must be color blind. I have had so many people tell me "what a pretty purple truck you have"

I used to correct them and say it's Sonic Blue but after a while, I just quit caring and thanked them for the compliment. Such is life.

 

If a large number of unbiased people compliment or call it purple it must look purple. Sure its not the stereo typical deep purple that first comes to mind but theres more than one shade of purple. The trucks still look good none the less, so does it really matter?

Well, if you had the two tone sonic blue you'd know it's definitely purple at times and blue others.

It is not purple. As a former owner of sonic blue. Its the best damn color on the ford ranger. The color change just makes it look like a very expensive color. And sonic blue is much less boring than black, white, red. Sonic blue has pizazz.
