yeah i know idont understand what the hell its all about i can see the stamped number right on toop of the second pipe from the firewall. i think im just going to go to dmv or soemthing once i figure out my igniction problem i was told since i keep blowing my maxi 1 fuse for my ing i need to replace my ign switch. hopefully once i do that it'll start up and be running again. then i can deal with the header bs.

Here is my question... If it passes the smog tests how is it not CARB certified? why do they have to have the serial numbers and paperwork saying it was certified.

Im glad I dont have to do those stupid tests

i'm happy i don't have to do them either, there is only 2 counties in oregon that require emission tests, and i don't live anywhere near there

I had this same issue with my mustang because they couldnt see the carb number

if its a one man shop you might just want to go to another shop if theres more than one smog tech come back when another one is doing the checks
