(non-ranger) tranny shudder

My wife has a 06 ford escape...noticed last weekend on interstate it started this lil shudder deal when goin to up shift... i have heard a few lil things here and there on it, but not too much and apparently there is a fix for it...anyone heard of this?

I don't see any TSB's out on it...what engine does it have?

2.3 or 2.4 i believe havent looked in a min...lol but i will!!

then its the 2.3..it is a 4 banger..

I checked, don't see any TSB's on it. Torque converter shudder??


EDIT...found this. 242/342 Cycling Shudder Chatter

Electrically it uses the TCC solenoid, trans range selector, TPS, RPM...blah blah blah....it also states to be sure PCM calibration is up to date. I'm guessing they had a flash out for this

just may have been a freak thing!? it was at about 65mph and may have cought it between shifts or something...also has 81k and time for a tranny flush!!
