It was like 29 or something today! Its not even going to get above freezing all week! lol. Damn I cant wait till summer.
I never had the problem, and I've had hard tonneau covers on all my trucks and I lived in Michigan for 20 years. I think if it did get stuck, whack the top and try to break the ice. Maybe mine were just well-sealing, I don't know.
I have had that problem with my Access cover that I used to have on my Ranger. I loved the cover but that just goes with the territory! I just gave it a couple of smacks and I could usally get it open. Just do what I did recently, I got a heated garage!
its only a problem if you have the style cover that uses the 3m style spongey stuff for a seal around the edges, i have had this problem as well, and sometimes in the summer it kinda sticks on hot days

very simple just pound on the brace above the tailgate it will release it i had the problem with my no name cover now with my Extang it doesnt do that. also the same thing with your door freezing shut just whap on the edge of the door where the seals are and it will open
I've got the same problem with mine... and I always stupidly leave my ice scraper in the bed of the truck. The simplest and best solution I've had yet - take it off the setup for now. If I ever get another, next time I'm getting one of the velcro ones, I've broken off either 2 or 3 of the damn buttons this winter.

that wasnt very NICE!
my cover is a tongue and groove kinda cover, and it would be nice to be able to actually open the tail gate, i have wacked the top pretty hard a cpl times, didnt really do much
as far as heated garage, i got one, truck sits out at night tho, cause it costs alot to keep opening a 10x10ft door to pull my truck in.... only when it needs a washing, does it go in, and when i need access to the bed, im never home....
