OHC bulb options

I got me a working OHC with map lights I got it all done today.

I'm kinda disappointed with the amount of light. What other bulb like a led bulb can I use to better the light/

The bottom universal kit. I believe it has the adapter needed. I have yet to double check the bulb sizing.

All those bulbs look to big for the housing.

AUTOLUMINATION!!!!!!!

hands down..the most bad *** interior lighting bulbs ever!!

I believe yours take a 906/194 bulb...I HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest getting matching "Xenon/Hyper White" bulbs from Autolumination.com. Bulbs only run about $1.50 ea or so...and they kick major ***. bright as snot...you will love these bulbs....i put these in my cargo lamps and in my dome light. They rock...seriously. They do.

Autolumination.com website

906 Bulbs...scroll way down to the blue colored glass bulb...

How dare you! just dont start callin' me Jewelz please... lol.

44mm 212-2 are in the stangs...but dude...for those you are WAY better off getting LEDs in there. The 'xenon/hyper white' autoluminaion bulbs for the 44mm 212-2 bulbs are really plain an nothing special...just slightly whiter...BUT...VERY yellow compared to the 906/194 'xenon/hyper white' bulbs. Believe me ... i tried. lol.

I just need to get some replacement bulbs from them for my mustang dome light. But here are some pics...If you want some night pics let me know

My ohc has festoons in it. Not twist locks.

YMMV?

You've got an older model OHC..that's why. My light grey OHC had festoons. My dark gray had T10 wedges.

Edit: Ok, read up now. Feel like an idiot.

So any 194 bulb, you can just take that wedge thing off your stock bulbs and throw them right in? No modding required? Or do you have to do what was done above...?

And any 44mm festoon will work for the mustang dome?

Oh and those hyper white bulbs, when left on for a little while, will overheat and melt the domelight. Thats why I have a mustang one...lol

STL I had the hyper whites in my mustang dome from www.autolumination.com Tail Light Brake Light Turn Signal LED Bulbs and didn't think they were bright enough. The ones I got were dimmer than the stock bulbs. The color of them were nice but just not bright enough.
