oil plug
oil plug
i just got done changing my oil and when i took the plug out i noticed the seal on it was getting a little worn out. is this something they carry at a checkers or something that is a general part for all vehicles or should i go to ford for it.
in a pinch you can use a rubber washer from like lowes like you would use on a sink or even cut a piece of cork from gasket material last time i bought an oil drain plug it was like six bucks at Ford when they get worn out i just replace them its been like three of them in 8 years
i've heard some bad things about those quick drain oil things so i'm probably gonna stay away from that . its not leaking or anything so i dont wanna take it out and waste all that oil so i'll probably go to ford before my next oil change and just buy a new one.
