old black cat got a new ride last night.

well the ole girl was gettin tired. slave cylender for the clutch was going out. and i was just fed up with it.

got me a used 08 ranger. xlt 4.0 slush box. 2wd though really coulf of used 4wd. no 4wd truck in stock in my area and also i have very little credit for being a young guy so a shiney new 09 was not happening.

any rate new truck, extended cab, 4 doors FTW! see how long i can leave it alone before mods

only pic i have on my cell phone.

well one i have very little credit, i was 20 befor i got my first credit card im now 21. also nobody had 4x4's in stock that i could get a loan on. even if i could get a loan the 4x4 would be hard to come by or 08 year and id have to order a 09 and that just takes me back to problem number one credit.

yea last weekends events kinda pushed me over the edge with the ole girl.

so yea time to get up to speed on what i can do with the new truck. being a twin i beam guy havent really bothered to follow the lift kits and crap out there etc....

OH BTW!!!!!! NO TORSION BARS! it has coils. dont know if its really news or not but it is to me cause most new rangers ive seen had the bars.

I'm not sure about lift but I know you can drop it. LOL.

That weekend proved to me that I need a bigger truck or a trailer. Nothing fit anywhere.

No 2wd XLTs have torsion bars, only the sports.

leave the new one maybe put some cool rims or whatever and a system, but leave the new one damn near stock. and make your other one a sas trail ****, then you never have to worry bout breaking down cause you will have your 2wd back up truck, which is perfect cause its 2wd and you cant wheel it too hard... i want to get a little car or 4 banger ranger just to have an extra one and dd of course then when i need a 4x4 i have one and its not being beating up on daily driving and i can do whatever i want to it and take as long as i need doing it cause i have my DD

just my opinion, you didn't need the money or the truck for a down payment on the new one so keep the old...

oh yeah and the new one looks nice and clean i like it and i really like that color...

Very nice Justin! I say definitely SAS the 94. Leave the new one as is, except maybe some cosmetic stuff.
