Ya, make sure you have a good security system on your truck. I had a Cobra like that and someone stole it out of my truck. Or, hide it.

 

shame you wasted 90$ on a paperweight. Should have bought a real detector not a fashion item.

they make very very effective laser jammers but laser is trigger controlled so detection is very difficult unless you pick up a skip off of a car infront of you.

 

well its my second radar detector 2 be exact i have a valintine 1 in my mach 1 and no 1 can see in my truck 2 c what i have i got 5% window tint and about the gun thing it is illegal in va now thats what 1 of my buddies told me thats on the force so idc its only 4 highway use any other time its goin 2 be in my glove box

Interesting you have Valentine 1 in your Mach and you chose a fashion statement for your truck. Valentine 1 is by far the best on the market should have gotten a V1 for the truck too if you need two. I move my V1 from vehicle to vehicle.

 

 

yeah well ints not really 2 where i can get it out i have it mounted and i have the remote with the wire and it wired straight 2 a switch i put under the dash i put the remote on top of the steering wheel

 

Yea cobras arent that good of a radar detector. They pick up many radar bands, most of them automatic doors. You should get an escort x50.

A few years back I had one that did all bands and laser but it was so sensitive that almost anything would set it off. I mean stuff like sliding doors in stores bank security systems etc.

My buddy drives an SS Cobalt and he has the next level up of that Cobra and he says it works wonders... even with laser

 

so... why do you need this? It's not like your going to be setting any speed records in a Ranger.

flux capacitor mod is about equal to a supercharged 5.0 swap from what i hear. so a radar is a good idea.

 

I will hate as a matter of fact. He shouldnt be speeding, so therefor he is wasting his money. slow down unless your going 1000 miles driving 10 over the speed limit isnt going to amount to any significant amount of time.
