So what is the BEST way to raise the rear end on my ranger? I'm putting on the spindles next weekend. 4 wheel parts said to do the add a leaf and my neighbor that has a suburban said that he tried them and they didn't work, but his suburban is like 12 in. in the air and has 38 in tires. I have a 2002 Ext. Cab Edge. Will the add a leaf level it out, or should i get some shackels, or both?

Thanks,
Chris Hill

go under your truck... look at the leaf spring. in the back you will see a shackle on there now holding the leaf to the frame hanger. its just a longer version..

Do i need to jack up the truck and suport the frama and undo the u-bolts on the truck to install the new shackles or just support the frame and undo the shackles and replace them?
