Looking at ordering up some Scavenger Cold Rolled Angle Cut tips for fixing my exhaust up, I've got 2 1/4" piping from my muffler back, with my current tip being a 2 1/2" dual exit:

The opinions I am looking for.. is should I order up a 3.00" exit, or a 3.50" exit? Or heck, even a 4", the price ddoesnt bug me at all right now... And in terms of exhaust noise.. I do like it deep toned from my headers/intake/muffler setup.

Give any thoughts/opinions..!!

For reference, this is where I am ordering from, and the cost for the tips is roughly $49-$54 apiece, Stainless Steel, and they are 20" long in total

4", that way it'll sound deeper AND it will "fit" the size of your truck, even if you lift more.

I think my tips are 3.5" wide and around 22" long!

And im glad to see your going with stainless, i originally had chrome tips and after about 3 years of heavy winter abuse they got to the point of no return. That's why I got my stainless tips last summer

Here's my old 2.5" in/3.5" out x 18" angle cut.....looked killer! Sounded killer!

In my opinion.......two 4" tips on a little ford ranger? 3.5" is more than big enough for it......it's just sweet as hell with a 3.5. do it. do it. 4 is overkill imo.

It all depends on the application.

I thought that 3" looked too small on mine. So I switched to these ^^^ 4"

Yep, thats what I was thinking when I started browsing around.. plus the tone of note is MUCH deeper and more of a growl then what I've got now.. and considering the mods Ive got in that will change teh sound.. I -think- I will go ahead and order up the 4" angle cut ones

I wouldn't go with anything larger than a 3.5" tip.
