Over Drive Button Help

Trying to take the overdrive button out of the gear shifter. I pried the cap off with a flathead but can't seem to figure out how to take the whole module out. Is it just like a plug and I just pull it out?

Got the switch out, had to take off the top steering column cover, push the wire through the shifter, and then unplugged the switch. Can't seem to find where I can purchase a new one though: https://www.ranger-forums.com/attach...ine=1345305124

I just replaced my whole shifter arm. I replaced mine with a crown vic/towncar chrome one.

Chances are, you can't buy JUST that button.

Found one looks a little differant, but they may have yours, saw it on Amazon 17 bucks here's the link hope it works.

Think I found one more promising here to look at than amazon

Typically the wires go bad in the shifter tube. Test the switch before you buy anything.
