Over Drive Button Help

Trying to take the overdrive button out of the gear shifter. I pried the cap off with a flathead but can't seem to figure out how to take the whole module out. Is it just like a plug and I just pull it out?

Got the switch out, had to take off the top steering column cover, push the wire through the shifter, and then unplugged the switch. Can't seem to find where I can purchase a new one though:

Typically the wires go bad in the shifter tube. Test the switch before you buy anything.
