how do u clear this dang code my xcal wont clear it and from what i hear they say i need to drive it for 60 miles at different speeds comon guys is there a way past this?

No. To clear the P1000, you must drive it until the OBDII Monitors complete.

Since the Catalyst Monitor is often the last and most difficult to complete, I would suggest doing its portion of the drive cycle first. The other monitors will probably take care of themselves in the meantime. You can use a scan tool to see if the P1000 is gone but do NOT reset the PCM. If you do, you will need to start the drive cycle process over again. |
