p1000

how do u clear this dang code my xcal wont clear it and from what i hear they say i need to drive it for 60 miles at different speeds comon guys is there a way past this?

No. To clear the P1000, you must drive it until the OBDII Monitors complete.

p1000 trip test

Well this sucks . Does anyone know of any tips or anything that could help me complete this p1000 drive test

The link I posted above tells you exactly how to do it.

Since the Catalyst Monitor is often the last and most difficult to complete, I would suggest doing its portion of the drive cycle first. The other monitors will probably take care of themselves in the meantime. You can use a scan tool to see if the P1000 is gone but do NOT reset the PCM. If you do, you will need to start the drive cycle process over again.

Thanks again for your knowledge rwenzing. The p1000 went away after i did the whole drive cycle a second time. Whoo Hoo Thx FreeTime
