Hi! I'm Ken Tommy from Norway. I'm new at this forum.
My Ranger broke down while I was driving.
It wouldn't start again! But the day after it did.
And the problem started again after a few days.
Got it to a garage/shop and got the codes:
P1309 Misfire monitor mode disabled.
P1000 Powertrain Control Module ROM error.
The engine is running for now! The CEL light is not on.
I have driven it for maybe 2 hours after I reconnected the minus at the battery. It where off for about 10 Minutes

What do I have to do? I apriciate all the help I can get!

The first thing I would do would be to check ALL the ground connections , starting at the battery .
Bat to frame
Bat to body
Body to body.
Don't just look at them , take them apart and clean them.


And your English is fine.

 

That sounds like a ground problem, as stated above. check them.
Your English is fine, probably better then some of the American members on here.
