p1116 code
p1116 code
My 2000 ford ranger 4x4 is throwing a p1116 code wich is susposed to be engine temp are to cold. I was wondering if I put a higer temp thermostat would that fix the problem, instead of replacing the engine coolant sensor thanks for the help.
why not change the ECT sensor, it takes 5 minutes?
my ECT was bad but i did not have a cel or code on it.
the truck would hesitate for the first 5 minutes of driving when i hit about 1800 rpms.
i read an article online about my symptom and changed it anyways without the cel and problem fixed.
