well im moving away from the chrome/black theme, so i was gonna get a black billet grill and some black tails too, make it all blacked out...minus those black light cover things...i think it would look pretty cool...im still in the process of finding the grill tho...

Bailey: I believe Carriage Works makes a black billet grill, check http://www.truckperformance.com.

I wanna do my corners, they are a little bit trickier than the headlights, you have to be more careful when getting them apart. I want to order another set to try it on.

Thanx Ryan.

I looked at Carriage works grills, and they have two black ones, one said that the factory grille is open across the top and the other says the factory grille is closed across the top...what does that mean? are they just overlays for the existing grille? i dont want over lays...i want to replace the stock grille

no they replace it. The open across the top is for edges and the closed its for the non-edge

You have to cut the old gray grill out there are some tabs that hold it on you just have to dremel or die grinder it flush to the rest. It isn't hard.

Hey yea i just got the pc goin again it is really easy it did it the easy way to get it done. too bad i couldn't get it back before i traded it in. It is harder to get the grill shell out than it is to put it in. I didn't even relize that we hijacked the thread sorry.

Yeah...I hope they don't mind lol!

I found a factory black honeycomb grille for our trucks and also got a taurus emblem last weekend. I think that I will install the black grille and paint the grey one blue to match the truck. I wonder how hard it is to install lights behind the grille???
