performace chips

im looking for the best performance chip for my money.

i really like the Scan Gauge but as far as i can see it serves no real "performance" advantage. (although i do like the idea of being able to monitor my engines performance )

i would like to have something similar to the Scan Gauge but also get more power from it.

Any suggestions?

P.S. i dont need a "look out" monitor i jus like the idea of having one. im open to any input.

one last question..... what would be the best overall performance accessory for my money?

it doesnt have to be a performance chip. i figured it would be a good investment.
