Here are the 1st set of pics sent to me from home. Looking to change the grill, headlights, tail lights, tonneau cover, maybe lift it and put bigger wheels on it. I've seen some rangers with fake hood scoops too, thought that might look good. Any suggestions, advice or ideas?

 

Nice truck. Dont do those stupid fake hood scoops though. Are you wanting a billet grille? What do you want to do to the headlights? Paint em? And what are you wanting to do to the tail lights?

 

Aight, Hood scoops out :). I actually was looking for a grill that was chrome or aluminum, and I like the honeycomb look that you see on the 01-03's, I'm just not a big fan of the faded black plastic look. I've found some that cover the original on ebay for cheap, but didn't know how stupid that would look. The headlights, I'd at least like to get rid of the orange sidemarkers. Winks has the headlights that I like on his ranger. Tailights, just something different than stock, doubt I'd go with euro, cuz every tool on earth has those on their vehicle.

 

If you dont like the faded black plastic look paint the grille. I did that to mine and it turned out great. If you want black headlights you can either buy some off ebay for like $100-ish or you can paint the ones you already have. If you don't want completely clear corners you could buy 06 corners. Nicer look in my opinion.

Get the blacked out headlight and corners. I would go with a black billet grill skip the bigger wheels and just get after market wheels and bigger tires once you lift it. This thread belongs in the snapshots section.

 

Yep I say go with the 04blackedge look cant beat that. By the wy 04blackedge what did u pay for those headlights and corners?

$10, like Trigger said I did it myself. Stuck them in the oven and opened them up, taped off the bulb area and sprayed with Krylon Fusion Satin Black and sealed them back up with clear bathroom silicone.

 

Nice truck man, and I've seen the blacked out head light's on ebay for like 78'ish dollars and come with corners, ( some do) but the baking mod is cheaper.
