Please help. Still misfiring.

My truck has still been misfiring. I've changed the plugs, coil pack, air filter, and fuel filter and one plug wire. It was all fine for a couple weeks and now its starting again, but different. It's fine at first and gradually starts doing it. So I decided to change the other 5 plug wires and I think I might have put my them on out of order. The truck is misfiring worse than before and my coil pack doesn't show the order like the stock one did and I can't find a diagram online. So if someone could help me with the correct order I would greatly appreciate it. Also, would a tensioner asembly that is worn out cause any timing issues? I can see its warping and its making m belt squeek. Thanks for any help.

The belt tensioner won't effect timing.

I had the same trouble the last time i changed out my plugs. I went to a "better" plug. I had to go back to Bousch platinums. Truck didn't like the "better" ones. What it does now is sometimes when i have the A/C on, it has a random misfire. I've tried everything you have, and it still does it.

Just curious, but what plugs are you running. Also what do you have them gapped at?

This does not mean that they are gaped right. You still have to check the gap when you go to install them. Shipping can cause the caps to close. It's just a heads up bud.

and even if they are from the dealer, that doesnt mean they are right. two vehicles that use the same motorcraft plugs might have different gaps. While close, might still be off. I always check the gap. its cheap insurance for what literly takes a second a piece. Much shorter than taking them out later to check it.

Go with Motorcraft plugs. Those are what came in your truck from the factory and will be the best replacement.

Mine just has a random miss every once in a while. I'm gonna throw out the Bousch and get the Motorcrafts tomorrow.
