The PM answer thread.
The PM answer thread.
Do you get PM'd regularly about a specific thing? If so, post it up.
I get a PM about once a month asking where I got my billlet foglite covers.
The answer- I took a main billet grill and used a bandsaw to cut it down to both foglite covers and the valance.

Your not going to answer that question?? Your still going to get the PM's then.
33x12.5x15 BFG A/T's
15x10 Procomp 1069's
Fabtech Spindles
Fabtech AAL
Fabtech 4" Chevy block
Torsion bars cranked a little, but sagging.
There, no more PM's lol
What are those?
I get a PM every once in a while about my bumper, or my locker or something I've done to my truck like my rock sliders or custom gas tank skid plate etc.
My answer about my bumper, skids, sliders: it's all custom, you can't buy it, I know some guys that can fab and they built it for me.
The rest of it are questions like how does your truck drive with a locker on a daily basis (fine, great, i'd do it again), is it worth it (yes).
I've gotten some about my seat covers. http://designcovers.com/
At one time or another I've posted about my mods. Search the threads I've made and there should be one for most of the major mods.
Nothing specific just random questions.

Good thread...Honestly ppl this is a customizing forum. If we just bought **** it would Walmart-forums.com.
I made my skid plate myself...i ain't selling it and i ain't making you one. I tell how make one though. Standard reply i keep saved for these purposes.....
I bought two sheets of 2'x2'x1/8" diamond tread aluminum for the main section. I really only needed a 4'x3' piece but they didn't have that option at Menards. I would really recommend getting one solid main though. I had the two piece lined up real nice until one took a rock and kinda bend it a lil funny.
The plate has to be notch for the stabilizer bar and bent in a kinda u shape too clear the tires when i corner.
Then i made frame outta some 2"x 1/8" angled mild steel. I made the front part of the skid to bolt into were the factory radiator protector was, and the back section was held by pinching the skid against the bottom of the front cross member.
Here is the rough drawn plans i kinda when off of.

If you have anymore questions about how i worded it or w/e just ask. Id be glad to help. I made this thing with only a sawzall, drill, and a bench vise. One day i prolly take it to a shop to get welded though.

I get at least one or two threads a week about my bumpers, both front and rear. I also get them about my current suspension set up.
Bumpers: Front: ARB bumper from a Toyota Tacoma. No it was not an exact fit. Yes the frame was altered. Yes custom brackets had to be made, yes more metal had to be added.
Rear: Totally custom
Suspension: Maxed T-bars, AAL's, Chevy Drop Shackles.

Q: Where did I buy my front bumper.
A: I didn't really. I got it from a guy I knew. It was made for an F150. I built brackets of sorts to make it fit my truck and to strengthen it a lot more. I added the lower angled tubing. It is MUCH stronger now than it was before. I have taken out some pretty big stuff with it.
This is what it looked like before:

I get PM'ed about how I like my tires. I like them very much, they've done very well for me.
You can also fit them without a lift, but they rub like hell if you try to wheel it that way.
