Icon5 Pop & lock tailgate lock

Any of you guys have one? If so is it a good lock or not? Found the best price on one at hubcapsplus.com for $40 and free shipping. Everywhere else the prices pretty much start at $45 or more without free shipping.

it looks like you have a locking hard tonneau

whats the point of locking both? Can you open the tailgate with the cover closed?

Had the locking tailagte before the cover. I have had to remove the cover for things so I never saw the point to take it off. Tailgate wont open with the cover closed though.

I took the cover off when I went to St. Louis to pick up a generator. Locked the tailagte only way some on could have stole it was with a hoist/crane which would have looked odd.

I was thinking about getting one for mine. It has a soft tonneau though. Ya, someone could take a knife and open it but it would tak more ***** to cut it open then just drop the talegate. You can't open the tonneau on mine unless you drop the tailgate.
