yes finally IS the key word! I've got a few more issues to iron out now though, primarily with my USB devices not wanting to be recognized after hibernation, and I may try putting the carputer into standby instead of hibernate to allow faster resume times. I've got a few more days to play with it before i head back to school.

Thanks Bryce, I've got all my drivers updated to the newest ones. There is a program I am trying to use that was written just for this purpose, but go figure the program is giving me error messages. I've got to pull the pc out in order to change the jumpers on the power supply to go to standby so I'm gonna see what I can't get going on this first.

The progress thread is still up, I just figured I'd catch more eyes this way

I'm excited to see pics, because it will mark the ...3rd time we've seen pics of the new truck since the beach incident. Wasn't that like 2 years ago!?!

I don't want to count the number of times I've almost thrown this thing right out the window! Haha but it was so exciting seeing it boot up for the first time (after quite a few failed attempts LOL). The error message magically went away when I went downstairs to try and fix it, so I'm happy for the time being!

Except now my sound isn't working and I'm not quite sure why...

Haha yeah the new truck isn't quite a picture *****. The beach was actually last october, so a year and two/three months.
