Power Steering Pressure Switch Problem
Power Steering Pressure Switch Problem
Hey all, it’s me again, I know I’m having a ton of issues with my 1998 Ranger XLT 2.5L, but it was in an accident a little while back. And after the shop got done with it things were just bad.
So this problem is with the Power Steering obviously. My RPM’s drop every time I turn the steering wheel. Now I have replaced everything in that system except for the pump and the PS pressure switch sensor. I don’t think the power steering pump has anything to really do with the problem, so that leaves that switch.
Has anyone ever replaced the thing? And if you have, please tell me the easiest way to replace it. I can’t find anything on the repair for this model.
