preperation
Im going on a long trip on sat -about 7 hrs.. Any prep i should do prior to i leave. I checked my oil my tranny fluid brake fluid powersteering fluid belts and air pressure

You could do more prepping if you wanted but thats pretty good. How about brakes? Do you know roughly how they are doing? Thats the only other thing id check out is brakes...

check your gas and make sure all your lights work like brakes, blinkers...

thanks guys.im going down to KY to buy a motorcycle and bring it back in the bed. All my money went into the bike so if something breaks on the truck im screwed :)

7 hrs long trip.............ha.......when ya do 24hrs only stopping for fuel then we will talk

iv done it before in my 72 240z that i knew was in good operating condition that didnt see mud. My truck sees mud frequently and im nervous about it.
