I found a guy thats parting out a mountaineer and he has front power seats and his center console and is just going by decent offers, and told me just to shoot him a price. My question is, what would be a fair price for the seats and center console, i dont wanna rip the guy off, cause then he probably wouldnt sell me the seats if i went too low, but i dont really wanna pay too much for em either.
So whats a fair price?

I paid $125 for my Exploder seats (six way power and leather) and $50 for the center console. That was an excellent deal on the seats, probably could've done better on the console though. Offer him $200 for everything and see what he says. I wouldn't go more than $300.

 

You did great on your seats John. And I agree with your comments generally.

Twice 've gotten a set of power lumbar leather Ex seats from the junkyard and each time I paid $200 for the set, with me doing the pulling. Afull length console, overhead console and auto-dim mirror cost me another $100 for the lot (again, yanking them myself).

So anywhere from $200-300 bucks sounds about right in Corey's case.

im kinda screwed though because i cant get the old seats out. one bolt on either side goes thriough to the outside, and i cant budge them loose.

 

grind it off?...use some muscle haha...thats a great price..i wouldnt pay more then 250

 

i already broke one torx bit trying to get it off, and im trying not to strip the bolt because i really dont want to get another one.

has anyone else had the same problem as me?
