the lightest Id ever do tint is 15%, anything lighter than that is a waste imo

I have 28% and I find it hard to see at night very often. The tint was on when I bought the truck though so it could very well actually be darker than it says.

Go dark on the back 3 and I wouldnt go darker than legal on the driver and passenger, 1 to avoid tickets, and 2, with the back 3 dark it will make the front appear dark regardless.

Go with 20%.. Matches the back and looks good.. Little tougher to see but its worth it. Its not to dark and not to light.

I only did the front windshield and the driver side rear... I didn't have time to do the back window. Also, I don't know how close my photoshop is to a 20% tint.

Compared to the original:

You can't tint the front windshield in NC. Side limit is 35% no limit on the back.

Scott I wouldn't pay more than 100 to get it done.

I highly doubt that you would get pulled over for 20%

I got mine done not too long ago... I think it was like $150 and they did a really good job...it was a 3M shop. 15% sides and 10% rear (?)... Might want to look around, but if the net price is less than $100, it is gonna be cheap tint and a poor job

I've seen this guys work, he did fiance's dad's F150. I thought it was factory till he told me he had them done. He also had lifetime guarantee on his work. He does it for a living. I'm happy with the price for his quality of work!

^^ Is that for size comparison?

Another suggestion is that something that I did. I tinted my own windows. To get good at it will take a couple trys but it think it is worth it. Like a 10' roll is ten bucks. You can tint your windows 12 times for that. It wont look perfect. But I got pretty good to where there is only a few small bubbles. Did it on my silvy and ranger and dads truck.

35 over everything on the ranger

I think that $120 is a great deal. I paid that for just my front two windows to be 20%, but I have the lifetime gaurantee also. It will look just fine with 35% on the front.

to fix small bubbles usually you can take a needle, poke a hole in the middle of the bubble, and use a squegee (sp?) and push from the outside to the center
