If I remember correctly from my import days Ignited makes a decent push button start.

yeah,how the heck does a pushbutton ignition work in vehicles like the Viper or S2000....like if you want to steal it, just push the button..A child could accidentally start it...

What's the deal with them?

Like stated before you have to have the vehicle's key FOB inside the car in order for the button start to work. Without the key FOB in your pocket or wherever, it won't start.

It'd be like a Semi. Turn key to "on" and push a button to start it.

i drove a lexus that had a push button/no key hole. i drove around all day with the key fob in my pocket. the funny thing was, i showed the car to my girl and gave her the key. i put the car in drive and i was able to drive the car. mind you i only put it in gear and rolled a few feet before i stopped so there must be a proximity set so the key stays close to the car.

on a side note, our buses are like a washing machine, turn nob to start and push button. hell they even shake asbad half the time....
