Question about taking off front bumper

Hey guys. I picked up a new winch and now need to get a receiver fabbed up for the front. I was wondering if there are any air bag sensors or anything on the bumper itself that I need to be aware of when taking it off. Do I need to pull the fuse?
Also, I am going to weld it to the front frame so do I need to take off the entire bumper or just the valance?
I need to figure out which vehicle to get the receiver off of at the junkyard or which will work best. I have a 2002 Edge 4x4 with a 3" BL and not looking to lose the valance for good.

just remove the whole bumper/valance to work on it being its only 4 bolts...

Air bag sensors are behind the grille on the Radiator support

BL is already done. Thanks. I just wanted to make sure I didn't ruin a $700 air bag.

I thought they were in the restraint control module (RCM) on our generation rangers?

'99ish to 03ish...YES. I know 98s are behind the grille. And '08 are next to the rads.

You should disconnect the battery & unplug the ECU when welding on the frame anyway.
