So truck is stranded out in some random parking lot across town for the second time in a month. Atleast the first time wasnt the trucks fault, but this time my alternator took a dump. I have the battery here charging and will go rescue my truck when i can find someone to give me a ride in the morning. I wish i had some pictures to put up, but those will be for later, my camera cable is back in austin.

Took my truck out for the first time today. Ran great. love the new tires. Nothing too serious but going through some spots that trucks on 35s were questioning. got stuck twice because of the stupid auto transmission. Oh one more casualty of the trip , my muffler got ripped off somewhere along the way.

So i know i can replace my alternator myself, my brother has done his a few times. is there any chance getting it washed out will revive it? i understand i can get one with lifetime warrenty from oreillys or some place like that then not have to worry about it in the future

 

i think even vatozone ones have an option for lifetime warranties.
